We're Hiring a Staff AI Scientist at Uniphore
We're hiring a Staff AI Scientist at Uniphore in Palo Alto.
This is the role I wish existed when I was still at Google.
A lot of AI roles split too early into two camps.
One camp stays close to research but far from production. Smart work, weak feedback loop.
The other stays close to product but too far from the hard technical frontier. Lots of shipping, not enough invention.
This role sits in the middle, which is where the interesting work is.
You'd be working on the problems that actually matter in enterprise AI now: how models get adapted to real workflows, how agents become reliable enough for production, and how applied research turns into systems customers will trust.
That middle zone is where most of the value will be created over the next few years.
Not in demos.
Not in benchmark theater.
In production environments where the constraints are ugly, the data is messy, and the model still has to deliver.
If that sounds like your kind of problem, reach out.
Palo Alto based. Staff level. Exceptional applied scientists only.
